Transfer of Knowledge And Technology

As a chief measure of the Foundation's dedication to the transfer of knowledge and skills to Lebanon and the Middle East, the Practical Training/Career Programs department assists Hariri scholars to locate employment by putting them in touch with potential employers in Lebanon and the Middle East after they have completed their studies and period of practical training.

Practical Training/Career Programs also assists Lebanese expatriates in North America to take advantage of career opportunities in Lebanon and the Middle East. Besides setting up recruitment drives for employers, the Department maintains a Job Data Bank for employers, a Student Resume Data Bank, and an Executive Resume Data Bank through which it routinely matches an employer's requirements with an individual's education and skills.

The Department also participates in the Consortium of Washington Metropolitan universities and colleges and its International Student Job Fair hosted by American University. Any Lebanese college student, graduate student, or recent graduate can register to attend the annual October event through the Hariri Foundation.
