Mission

Since the early 1980's the Hariri Foundation-USA has been dedicated to the goal of building the human resources of Lebanon through education and of helping to train an important part of the next generation of leadership. Through the resultant transfer of knowledge and technology, the Foundation, which is a non-partisan, non-sectarian, and a not-for-profit organization, helps Lebanon meet its current and future technical and professional needs.

Established in 1985 in the United States by businessman and philanthropist H.E. Rafik B. Al-Hariri, the Hariri Foundation supports the academic and technical training of Lebanese scholars in over 32 major fields of study. Thousands of Lebanese have pursued studies in over 300 universities and colleges in the United States and Canada through the active sponsorship by and support of the Hariri Foundation.
